I too believe that students need some form of stress management. However, this shouldn't be made into a big deal. Most people grow up with the stress in their daily lives and they turn out to be just fine (again, most people.. not all).

I am a mother and I am aware of the fact that students too have stressful lives, as do we all. The way I deal with this is by asking him about his frustrations at school and try to find solutions to his problems. I don't know if this is the absolute best way to deal with stress but it seems to be working out really well up until now.

In the end I believe it is all up to how we educate our children and help them deal with their problems.

These are all wonderful suggestions. There is so much stress that we all go through. I enjoy meditating in the morning and I find that helps a bunch. And yoga is practiced by a good number of folks I am in contact with that also benefits those under stress.

Thanks for the article
